According to The Argus, Brighton and Hove Albion do not plan to sell Ben White, who is on loan at Leeds United at the moment and has been linked with Liverpool.

White, who can operate as a central defender or as a right-back, joined Championship club Leeds on loan from Premier League club Brighton in the summer transfer window.

The youngster has been playing well for the Whites, and Liverpool have been linked with a move for the 22-year-old.

Football Insider has claimed that Liverpool are keeping tabs on White, who is valued at £20 million by Brighton.

The Argus, though, has claimed that the Seagulls do not plan to sell the highly-rated and hugely promising defender.

Relief for Leeds United

White has established himself as an important player in Bielsa’s team, and him staying at Leeds until the end of the season is imperative in the Whites’ quest to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season and gaining automatic promotion to the Premier League for the 2020-21 campaign.

With Brighton reportedly not planning to sell White, it must be a relief for Leeds, as they will be able to keep the defender at Elland Road on loan until the end of the season.
