AC Milan could potentially secure the services of Everton star Richarlison this summer, however, they will have to fork out more than £60 million, according to a report published by popular Italian source Calciomercato.
The Brazilian international has been one of the Toffees’ best players this season and scored his 12th Premier League goal of the season on Sunday as Marco Silva’s side secured an impressive 2-0 victory over top-four hopefuls Chelsea.
As a result of his impressive displays this season, Everton star Richarlison has also won inclusion in the Brazil side and he has so far scored three goals from six appearances for his country.
The 21-year-old has shown that he is a quality player as seen by his performances for the Toffees this season and for Watford last season. It is perhaps just a matter of time before he is playing in the Champions League.
Serie A club Milan have been long-time admirers of Richarlison. The Rossoneri came close to sign him back in 2016 when he was on the books of Fluminense, added the report published by Calciomercato.
The player eventually ended up joining Premier League side Watford who were at the time under the management of current Everton boss Silva.
Richarlison is a player who would certainly bolster Milan’s side as they look to re-establish themselves as giants of Italian and European football following years of underachievement.
However, a move could ultimately prove to be difficult as the Rossoneri will need to worry abound Financial Fair Play Restrictions.
Richarlison may be better off staying at Everton for another season or two and establishing himself as one of the best forwards in England before he leaves.
He is a quality player but does tend to struggle with inconsistency. Goodison Park is the perfect environment for him to iron out the errors in his game.
