Rangers are interested in signing James Lawrence from Anderlecht in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Record.
It has been reported that Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is a big fan of Lawrence and wants to bring him to Ibrox this summer.
The Gers are reported to be considering making a £3 million move for the 26-year-old Wales international centra defender.
Rangers, though, are not the only club who are reported to be interested in securing the services of the former AS Trencin star.
According to The Daily Record, Stoke City and Swansea City in the Championship in England are interested in the Welshman as well.
Lawrence, who can also operate as a defensive midfielder, joined Anderlecht in 2018 and would be a good signing for Rangers.
Rangers do need to sign a central defender, especially as Joe Worrall has returned to his parent club Nottingham Forest in the Championship in England following a season-long loan spell at Rangers.
