According to Football Insider, Blackpool are in talks with Rangers over the permanent transfer of Jak Alnwick.

Alnwick is on loan at Blackpool in League One in England on loan from Rangers at the moment.

The 26-year-old is scheduled to stay on loan at Blackpool until the end of the season, but the Englishman reportedly want to make the deal permanent next month.

It has been reported that Simon Grayson’s side have started discussions with Rangers regarding making the loan deal permanent.

Alnwick is out of contract at Rangers next summer and will become a free agent, and the Gers are reportedly willing to listen to offers for him and get a transfer fee in January.

The goalkeeper is doing well for Blackpool at the moment, and with Rangers looking strong in the goalkeeping department, it is hard to see the former Newcastle United man being offered a new contract by the Gers, and it would make sense for him to leave Ibrox on a permanent contract.
