Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Neil Lennon’s Celtic are interested in signing Marcus Browne from West Ham United in the summer transfer window, according to Goal.com.
It has been reported that Rangers want to bring Browne to Ibrox this summer, while the Gers’ bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic are also claimed to have the 21-year-old attacking midfielder.
Fulham, who will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2018-19 campaign, are also interested in the youngster, according to Goal.com.
Browne has been on the books of West Ham since 2006, but the attacking midfielder has yet to establish himself in the London club’s first team.
The 21-year-old had a loan spell at Wigan Athletic in 2017, and the youngster also turned out for Oxford United on loan for the 2018-19 campaign.
According to WhoScored, Browne made 25 starts and nine substitute appearances in League One for Oxford this season, scoring six goals in the process.
