French giants Paris Saint-Germain could be set to make a shock move for Liverpool star Adam Lallana next summer as a replacement for MLS-bound Edinson Cavani, according to The Mirror.
The England international’s contract at Anfield is due to come to an end at the end of the season.
Considering his age and the fact that he is no longer a first-team regular for the Reds, Lallana will be tempted by a Liverpool exit.
He may just find a move to PSG appealing and a potential switch to the French giants is not something that will come around again during his career.
The Liverpool ace will likely still have options to go to the MLS and China during the coming years.
A departure of Lallana would be advantageous to Liverpool. It will allow them to free up space within their squad and they will also be able to bring in an hungrier player who can push more strongly for a first-team spot.
The 31-year-old Lallana has been on the books of Liverpool since 2014 after joining the club from Southampton.
He has since gone on to make 118 Premier League appearances for the club, scoring 18 goals but has become a bit-part player during the past two years.
