According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman wants to leave the North London club on loan in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that the 21-year-old goalkeeper has fallen down the pecking order and wants to find a club in January where he can play regular first-team football.
The report has claimed that the youngster is set to ask Tottenham to allow him to leave Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on loan.
Leaving Tottenham Hotspur on loan
Whiteman is a very talented and promising young goalkeeper, but it is hard to see the 21-year-old establish himself in the Tottenham first team anytime soon.
After all, Hugo Lloris will return to action in the New Year, while Michel Vorm is vastly experienced, and Paulo Gazzaniga is an able deputy.
It would make sense for Whiteman to join a club in the Championship or in League One in January where he can play regular competitive football and improve himself.
