According to Estadio Deportivo, Giovani Lo Celso has told Real Betis that he wants to leave in the summer amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
It has been reported that Lo Celso has told Betis that he wants to play for a club in the Champions League next season, with Premier League club Tottenham claimed to want him.
Lo Celso was on loan at Spanish club Betis from French giants Paris Saint-Germain last season.
According to WhoScored, the 23-year-old Argentina international made 27 starts and five substitute appearances in La Liga for Betis last season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in the process.
Betis made the loan deal permanent earlier this summer, and the Spanish club could now be tempted to sell on the youngster at a much higher price.
