According to Calciomercato, AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek does not want to join Aston Villa or Newcastle United in the January transfer window.
Premier League duo Villa and Newcastle are reportedly interested in signing Piatek from Italian club Milan this month.
However, the Poland international striker does not want to move to the Villans or the Magpies as he wants a project of his liking.
Understandable stance
Villa and Newcastle are massive clubs in England, but both the Villans and the Magpies are fighting for survival in the Premier League this season.
It is not going to be easy for Piatek to settle into Villa or Newcastle easily, and he will also have to hit the ground running at Villa Park or at St. James’ Park due to the pressure he will be under.
Moreover, leaving Italian and European giants Milan to play for a club at the wrong end of the league table in the English top flight would be a step-down fr Piatek.
