According to Football Insider, Celtic are interested in signing Bolton Wanderers forward Ronan Darcy in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Premier League giants Chelsea are also eyeing the 18-year-old forward and have made enquires about him.
However, the London club are unable to sign any players for the next two transfer windows due to a ban.
Celtic have also been monitoring the progress of the highly-rated and very talented forward and are ready to bring him to Celtic Park for a nominal compensation fee, according to the report.
Darcy made his debut for the Bolton first team only on the final day of the 2018-19 Championship season, and the 18-year-old is still developing and progressing as a footballer.
It is clear that the forward is one for the future, and if Celtic do sign him, then the Hoops should utilise the teenage in the youth team for the first year or so before pushing him towards the senior side.
