According to Football Insider, Josh Onomah wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur and join Sheffield Wednesday on a permanent contract in the summer transfer window.
Onomah spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Championship club Wednesday from Premier League outfit Tottenham.
The midfielder had injury problems, but the 22-year-old did give a good account of himself when he was fit and was on the pitch.
According to WhoScored, the youngster made 10 starts and five substitute appearances in the Championship for Wednesday this season, providing three assists in the process.
Football Insider has claimed that Onomah will tell Spurs that he wants to leave the North London outfit on a permanent basis to join Wednesday.
The Owls are also claimed to have opened talks with Tottenham regarding the permanent signing of the former Aston Villa loanee.
Onomah had a loan spell at Villa during the 2017-18 campaign, and has 20 starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Championship for the Villans, scoring four goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
