According to Balls.ie, Leeds United midfielder Eunan O’Kane wants to leave the club on loan in the January transfer window.
O’Kane is on the sidelines at the moment with a serious leg fracture, but it has been reported that the 29-year-old Republic of Ireland international is targeting to be fully fit by Christmas and then move on loan away from Elland Road in January.
Leeds United loan exit
O’Kane has been at Leeds since 2016, but the Republic of Ireland international has failed to make an impact at Elland Road.
Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa has a very strong and settled squad, and it is hard to see the 29-year-old break into the team.
There will be clubs at the lower end of the Championship looking for experienced midfielders in the January transfer window to help them survive in the second tier of English football, and O’Kane could be a good signing for such clubs.
