Manchester United are plotting a potential £200 million double raid for Jadon Sancho and Erling-Braut Haaland during the January transfer window, according to a report which was published by The Mirror.
The Red Devils find themselves in seventh position on the Premier League standings with 16 points after 12 games.
United are aiming for nothing less than a top-four finish this season but find themselves nine points adrift of fourth-place Manchester City currently.
The Old Trafford outfit need a few new additions to their squad during the January transfer window if they are to bolster their chances of attaining Champions League qualification.
The 19-year-old duo of Sancho and Haaland have emerged as two of the most highly-rated young talents in Europe.
The latter has been starring for Red Bull Salzburg so far this season while the former has had a difficult start to the campaign with Borussia Dortmund, but was brilliant last term.
United need to start scoring goals more regularly if they want to return to being a top club and there is no doubt whatsoever that the additions of Sancho and Haaland would help to bolster their creativity in the final third.
Sancho will likely be looking to return to his homeland at some point after having failed to make the cut while he was on the books of Manchester City.
Haaland would be a good option to play alongside Marcus Rashford.
The reported United target is capable of holding the ball up and would be able to pick out scoring opportunities for team-mates as well as find the back of the net himself.
