Leicester City had an offer of €20million (£17.8m) for Adnan Januzaj turned down last January, according to a report by AS.
The Spanish media outlet claim Real Sociedad remain keen on keeping their stars at the club, however, it would seem a number of teams could be about to test their resolve for him.
Januzaj is thought to be waiting for offers after his agent informed him that there are a number of European clubs interested in him, although the 24-year-old is said to be really comfortable in San Sebastian.
Should Leicester, or anyone else, look to try and prise the Belgium international away from Sociedad this summer, it is expected to cost them more than the £17.8m they offered in January.
Brendan Rodgers is believed to be keen on finding a left-footed right-sided winger for his side as they have lacked one ever since Riyad Mahrez completed his big-money move to Manchester City.
Rachid Ghezzal was brought in to try and replace the Algerian, however, he has largely been a flop for the Foxes.
Januzaj has plenty of experience of playing in the Premier League, having once been of Manchester United and Sunderland on a loan deal, although he could not help prevent them from suffering relegation in a rather abysmal year for the Black Cats.
His career is yet to really take off in the way that many would have predicted when he first burst onto the scene at Old Trafford, however, a move to Leicester could be exactly what he needs.
The Belgian may have some unfinished business in England’s top-flight and a return with the Foxes under the guidance of Rodgers might help him take his game to the next level.
