According to Football Insider, Leeds United will hold talks with Pablo Hernandez over a new contract.
Hernandez, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, is out of contract at Leeds at the end of the season.
It has been reported that the Championship club are keen to hand the 34-year-old a new deal, and that they will hold talks with the former Valencia and Swansea City star.
Good decision from Leeds United?
Hernadez has not been in great form for Leeds so far this season and looks tired towards the end of games, but the Spaniard is one of the best and most creative players in the Championship.
If Leeds get promoted to the Premier League for the 2020-21 season, then having a player of Hernandez’s quality and experience will enhance the Whites’ chances of having a successful campaign in the top fight of English football.
According to WhoScored, Hernandez has scored two goals and provided two assists in eight Championship appearances for Leeds so far this campaign.
