According to Football Insider, Leeds United and Liverpool are interested in signing Enzo Valentim from Reims II in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Premier League club Liverpool are keeping close tabs on the 18-year-old defender.
The report has also claimed of interest in the teenager from Leeds and Stoke City in the Championship in England.
Liverpool or Leeds United?
Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world and won the Champions League last season, and the Reds are going places under manager Jurgen Klopp.
However, the defender is unlikely to get much playing time at Anfield next season due to his relative lack of experience and due to the players the Merseyside have on their books at the moment.
Valentim will be a long-term signing for Liverpool, while the defender will have a better chance of breaking into head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s side next season.
Leeds are an ambitious club and will be aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship next season.
