According to The Daily Mail, Leeds United will make an offer of £250,000 for Carlisle United midfielder Liam McCarron.
It has been reported that the Championship will make the bid for the 18-year-old midfielder this week.
Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa reportedly wants to add the teenager to the squad before pre-season training starts.
According to The Daily Mail, Wolves, Derby County and Sheffield United are all interested in the League Two midfielder.
McCarron is very young and is far from the finished article, but the teenager is supremely talented and has huge potential.
It makes sense that Bielsa reportedly wants to bring in the youngster for pre-season training, as the Argentine head coach could then judge him and mould him in his own image.
McCarron, though, should not be expected to hit the ground running at Leeds or make a huge impact in the opening weeks, as he is still learning his trade and is quite inexperienced.
