According to Ecuadorian news outlet Estadio, Leeds United are interested in signing Alexander Alvarado in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that a Leeds scout has been impressed with the qualities of the 20-year-old winger.
The report has also claimed that the scout from the Championship club have made a very positive report of the attacking and defensive skills of the youngster.
Alvarado is in action for the Ecuador at the moment at the Under-20 World Cup.
Good signing for Leeds United?
Leeds do need to add players to their squad for the 2019-20 campaign, and Alvarado could prove to be a shrewd signing in the Whites’ quest to clinch promotion from the Championship to the Premier League.
Young and energetic, Alvarado will be a smart signing for the Whites, not only for next season but also in the long run.
It will be interesting to see how much the 20-year-old’s club, SD Aucas, ask for him as transfer fee if Leeds do make an offer for him.
