Leeds United are reportedly considering selling Jack Clarke to a Premier League side in a buy-back deal, according to a report published by Football Insider 24/7.
The 18-year-old is a promising young talent in English football. He was fairly impressive for the Whites this season as he went on to play 24 times in the Championship, scoring two goals and recording two assists.
The Yorkshire giants will be expected to receive multiple offers from top-flight clubs for their starlet this summer. Due to the fact that Leeeds failed to win promotion to the Premier League this season, he may be tempted to try and force through a move.
The report added that one club who could be set to make a move for Leeds starlet Clarke is Tottenham Hotspur. The youngster does after all fit the profile of a player who could work well under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino.
The report mentioned that the Whites hierarchy have held talks about the future of Clarke and that they may be willing to sell him this summer as well as try to secure him immediately on loan. This could be a win win situation for both Leeds as well as the club that the player will end up joining.
It will enable the Whites to secure a hefty fee for the players signature. At the same time, he will benefit by getting more experience at the highest level should be remain at Elland Road in a loan capacity.
There is a good chance that a deal of this nature will take place this summer.
