Tottenham Hotspur have started negotiations with striker Troy Parrott over a new contract, according to Football Insider.
It has been reported that Tottenham are keen on tying down the 17-year-old striker to a new long-term deal.
The Republic of Ireland international striker put pen to paper on a new contract with Spurs only in February of this year.
Good decision from Tottenham Hotspur
Parrott has yet to break into the Tottenham first team, but the teenager is hugely talented and has already made his debut for the Republic of Ireland national football team.
The 17-year-old is far from the finished article, but the teenager can only grow and develop in the coming years.
It would make sense for Spurs to hand the striker a new deal, as it would show just how much they rate him and how much they think he can be a success for the North London outfit in the future.
