Everton are set to reject the approaches of a number of clubs across Europe including AC Milan for the services of forward Richarlison, according to a report published by Sky Sports.
The Brazilian joined the Toffees last summer from Watford for a fee of £40 million. The signing was met with mixed reaction from the public.
On the one hand, Richarlison showed tremendous potential with the Hornets during the first half of last season as he went on to score five Premier League goals. On the other hand, he was inconsistent during the second half of last season particularly after Watford sacked Marco Silva as their manager.
Now that Silva and Richarlison are reunited at Everton, the player has proven to be well-wroth it. He has so far scored 12 goals this season for the club in the Premier League and his form has even led to him being included in the Brazilian team. He is currently training with his country ahead of their match on Saturday against Panama.
The 21-year-old is certainly one of the most exciting young players in the English top-flight. His form this season is sure to have attracted many top clubs from Europe’s top five Leagues.
Everton are once again planning a big shake-up of their squad this summer as they look to build a team that can challenge for a place in the top six. It appears that they are adamant that they will be retaining the services of Richarlison beyond this summer in spite of many top clubs taking notice of him.
