According to The Sun, Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Andre Almeida from Benfica in the summer transfer window.
Leicester City, Southampton and Brighton and Hove Albion are also reported to be interested in securing the services of the 28-year-old, who can operate as a full-back or as a midfielder.
The British tabloid has further claimed that the Portugal international could be signed for a transfer fee of £10 million this summer.
Almeida has had a brilliant season for Benfica this season and was one of the Portuguese giants’ best players in 2018-19.
According to WhoScored, the 28-year-old scored two goals and provided 11 assists in 33 Primeira Liga for Benfica this season, as Bruno Lage’s side won the league title by two points.
The full-back also played six times in the Champions League and thrice in the Europa League for the Eagles this campaign, according to WhoScored.
Almeida has a lot of experience in the Champions League and in the Europa League, and he will be a good signing for Everton or Wolves in the summer transfer window.
