According to Tuttosport, Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic wants to join Manchester United in the January transfer window, despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Calciomercato has reported of interest in Mandzukic from North London outfit Tottenham.
Tuttosport has stated that United want to secure the services of the former Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid striker.
The Italian publication has also claimed that the 33-year-old is keen on making the switch to United, and wants Juventus to let him join the Red Devils in December so that he can train with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
Mandzukic has yet to make an appearance in a competitive game for Juventus this season.
The Croatian striker made 23 starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A for the Bianconeri last season, scoring nine goals and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
The 33-year-old also made seven starts and one substitute appearance in the Champions League for Juventus, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.
