According to Marca, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has told the agent of Christian Eriksen that he will sell the attacking midfielder in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that Tottenham are looking for €21 million (£18.32m) to €25m (£21.81m) for the Denmark international attacking midfielder in the January transfer window.
The 27-year-old wants to play for Real Madrid, who are considering a move for the Dane and have received Spurs’ proposal, according to the report.
Mistake from Tottenham Hotspur?
Eriksen is out of contract at Tottenham at the end of the season, and it is a mistake from the North London outfit to have not been able to come to an agreement with the attacking midfielder over a new contract.
Selling the attacking midfielder in the middle of the season is not a good idea, but losing him on a free next summer is not great from a business point of view.
Tottenham are in a lose-lose situation regarding Eriksen.
