West Ham United are interested in signing Neil Etheridge from Cardiff City in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider.
It has been reported that West Ham are one of several clubs considering a move for the 29-year-old Philippines international goalkeeper this summer.
The report has claimed that the Hammers are looking for a new goalkeeper as Adrian – who played back-up to Lukas Fabianski this season – will leave the London Stadium this summer when his contract runs out.
Good signing for West Ham United?
Etheridge played well for Cardiff this season and was one of the Bluebirds’ best players in a campaign in which the Welsh outfit got relegated from the Premier League.
The former Oldham Athletic and Charlton Athletic player is a good and capable goalkeeper who does not take risks between the posts and is a brilliant shot-stopper.
The 29-year-old will be a smart signing for West Ham as a back-up goalkeeper this summer.
