According to Fanatik, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Ozan Tufan from Fenerbahce.
It has been reported by the Turkish news outlet that Tottenham have watched the 24-year-old in action for Fenerbahce recently.
The report has claimed that scouts of the Premier League club were in attendance during Fenerbahce’s Turkish Super Lig game against Antalyaspor on Saturday.
Tufan has made seven appearances in the Turkish Super Lig for Fenerbahce so far this season, according to WhoScored.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the 24-year-old – who can operate as a midfielder, right-back or right-winger – made 14 starts and three substitute appearances in the league during his loan spell at Alanyaspor, according to WhoScored.
Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur?
Tufan is a very good and talented player whose versatility is a boon, but the 24-year-old has simply not done enough to merit a move to Tottenham just yet.
Spurs should be looking at other and better players than Tufan, especially if they aim to be a consistent threat to Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier League title.
