According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers will make a new and improved offer for Oldham Athletic defender George Edmundson.
Rangers had an initial bid of £400,000 for the 21-year-old defender turned down by Oldham last week, according to the report.
Steven Gerrard’s side, though, are not giving up and seem determined to bring the youngster to Ibrox in the summer transfer window.
According to The Scottish Sun, Wigan Athletic, Stoke City and Derby County are also interested in Edmundson.
The youngster has turned down a new long-term deal with Oldham, who are resigned to losing him this summer, claims the report.
Edmundson played well for Oldham, and he is a very promising and talented young defender who will be an asset for Rangers.
According to WhoScored, the 21-year-old defender made 45 appearances in League Two for Oldham this season, scoring two goals in the process.
Rangers have finished second in the Scottish Premiership table the season and will be aiming to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the title in 2019-20.
