According to Football Insider, Rangers are worried that Brandon Barker may struggle to be a success at Ibrox.
It has been reported that Rangers coaches are concerned whether the 23-year-old winger will manage to play well for the Gers.
The report comes following the former Manchester City prospect’s performance against FC Porto at Ibrox in the Europa League.
The former England Under-20 international started the match, but he was substituted in the second after struggling to make a major impact.
According to Football Insider, Barker is making “a big impression” in training, but Rangers coaches are concerned whether he will be able to make an impact in games.
Barker made two starts and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.
Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 28 points from 11 matches, level on points with leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic.
Steven Gerrard’s side are second in Europa League Group G with seven points from four matches, level on points with leaders Young Boys.
