According to The Daily Mail (print edition, page 77, December 10, 2019), Steven Gerrard’s Rangers and Newcastle United are interested in signing Reagan Thomson from Queen’s Park.
It has been reported that Scottish Premiership giants Rangers as well as Premier League club Newcastle have made bids for the 16-year-old central midfielder.
However, according to the report, Queen’s Park – who are playing in League Two in Scotland – have turned down the offers from both Rangers and Newcastle.
The report has also claimed that the Gers made an offer of around £35,000, but it was rejected.
Thomson is a very talented and promising young central midfielder who can be a star for the future.
The 16-year-old is a very capable central midfielder, and reported interest from Rangers and Newcastle underlines just how good he is.
While Rangers are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title this season, Newcastle are hoping to avoid relegation from the Premier League to the Championship.
