Leeds United, Fulham and Stoke City are interested in signing Daniel Ayala from Middlesbrough in the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.
Ayala is out of contract at Middlesbrough at the end of the season, and Boro want to sell him in January instead of losing the defender on a free next summer, according to the report.
Good signing for Leeds United
Ayala is one of the best and most experienced defenders in the Championship, and he would be a very good signing for Leeds in the January transfer window.
The West Yorkshire outfit are aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season, and the 28-year-old central defender would enhance their chances of clinching automatic promotion to the Premier League.
The Spaniard is at the peak of his powers, and with Middlesbrough struggling at the moment, the defender could be tempted to swap clubs, every though he has been at the Riverside Stadium on a permanent contract since 2014.
