According to The Daily Mail, Aston Villa are interested in signing Joe Lolley from Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Lolley is at the top of Villa manager Dean Smith’s summer transfer list.
The 26-year-old winger, though, could cost £10 million in transfer fees, according to the report, which also claims that Forest manager Martin O’Neill will not prevent him from joining the Villans if the newly-promoted Premier League club make an acceptable offer.
According to The Daily Mail, Villa have tracked the former Kidderminster Harriers and Huddersfield Town winger for a number of months.
Lolley is one of the best attacking players in the Championship and is also a Villa fan, as reported by The Daily Mail.
According to WhoScored, the winger made 42 starts and four substitute appearances in the Championship for Forest this season, scoring 11 goals and providing 11 assists in the process.
Villa will play in the Premier League next season after clinching promotion from the Championship via the playoffs.
