According to El Confidential, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has told Real Madrid that the Premier League club will not sell Christian Eriksen in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that over dinner at Madrid City Hall last Friday night, Spurs chairman Levy told Madrid president Florentino Perez that Eriksen will not leave Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
According to the report, Madrid are interested in signing the Denmark international attacking midfielder, but the Spanish and European giants are not willing to pay more than €90 million (£79.87m) for the 27-year-old.
Eriksen is one of the best and most creative players in Europe, and the former Ajax star has been superb for Tottenham since he moved there in the summer of 2013.
Madrid endured a disappointing season in 2018-19, as they struggled to challenge for the La Liga title and also failed to make it four wins in a row in the Champions League.
As for Spurs, the North London outfit finished fourth in the Premier League this season and also progressed to the final of the Champions League.
