Celtic are interested in signing David Turnbull from Motherwell in the January transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun.
It has been reported that Celtic will reactive their interest in the 20-year-old midfielder in January once the 20-year-old midfielder has fully recovered from his injury.
The report has claimed that the midfielder’s £3.25 million move to Celtic from Motherwell in the summer transfer window collapsed after a medical at the Glasgow giants revealed that the Scotland Under-21 international needed surgery on a slight tear.
Good move for Celtic?
Turnbull is a very talented and promising young midfielder, and the 20-year-old can only get better in the coming years.
It is only a matter of time when the Scotland Under-21 international gets back to his best when he recovers fully from his injury, and Celtic will be making a good signing in the 20-year-old if they are able to secure his services in the January transfer window.
