According to The Daily Mail, Aston Villa are interested in signing Terence Kongolo from Huddersfield Town in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Villa – who will play in the Premier League next season after clinching promotion from the Championship via the playoffs – have asked about the 25-year-old defender.
The report has also claimed that Watford are interested in the Netherlands international, who can operate as a central defender or as a left-back.
Kongolo joined Huddersfield on a permanent contract from AS Monaco in the summer of 2018 after spending the second half of the 2017-18 campaign on loan.
According to WhoScored, the defender made 32 appearances in the Premier League for the Terriers during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
During the second half of the 2017-18 campaign, the 25-year-old made 11 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Huddersfield, according to WhoScored.
Kongolo would be a good signing for Villa in the summer transfer window.
