According to The Scottish Sun, Aston Villa and Fulham are competing with Celtic for the services of Gary Hooper, who is leaving Sheffield Wednesday in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Neil Lennon wants Hooper at Celtic if he gets the managerial role at Celtic Park on a full-time basis.
Lennon has been in charge of the Hoops since February 2019 following the departure of Brendan Rodgers to Leicester City in the Premier League.
The 47-year-old has a contract at the Bhoys until the end of the season, and it is not yet clear if he will be kept on as the manager beyond the summer.
Hooper, who will become a free agent this summer after leaving Wednesday in the Championship in England, was on the books of the Hoops from 2010 until 2013.
According to The Scottish Sun, Fulham and Villa are also looking at the 31-year-old former Southend United forward.
While the Cottagers will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League, the Villans are aiming to clinch promotion to the top flight of English football via the playoffs.
