Scottish champions Glasgow Celtic are interested in signing Zimbabwean striker Tino Kadewere and have reached out to his club Le Harve over a potential January transfer, according to RMC Sport.
The Hoops have been linked with a number of new strikers during recent months as Neil Lennon looks to add firepower to the Parkhead outfit’s squad.
Reported Celtic target Kadewere has been in brilliant form for Le Havre this season and has gone on to score 17 times for his club from 19 appearances.
Kadewere has shown plenty of promise as a player and needs to move away from the Ligue 2 team if he wants to take his game to the next level.
Celtic could be a good environment for him to do that.
Neil Lennon’s Hoops side quite evidently do need to make reinforcements to their side soon if they want to continue dominating Scottish football.
Celtic also need to be a bit more selective in terms of who they sign going forward.
The Glasgow club have dominated Scottish football for the best part of the past decade without any real threat.
However, Rangers are now a vastly improved side under the guidance of Steven Gerrard and things are not as easy anymore.
Odsonne Edouard has also been over-worked in terms of leading the line for the Hoops.
Celtic boss Lennon needs to bring in competition and cover for the Frenchman.
In addition to this, Edouard might also be planning to leave the club during the near future in order to play in one of Europe’s top five leagues so that he can achieve his dream of winning selection to the French national team.
