A report published by The Daily Record has claimed that Dunajska Streda forward Vakoun Issouf Bayo wants to move to Celtic.
The Hoops could realistically stand a chance of bringing the 21-year-old to Parkhead if they submit a bid for him in the region of £2 million, the report suggests.
The Ivorian has been brilliant in the Slovak Super Liga so far this season as he has managed to so far score 10 goals from 16 league games. Bayo certainly has the potential to succeed in the Scottish League and will also continue to get better with age during the coming years.
Celtic are looking to add some players to their squad this month in order to boost their chances of winning yet another Scottish Premier League title.
For almost 10 years, the Hoops have dominated Scottish football. However, Rangers have a serious chance of winning the league title this term under the leadership of Steven Gerrard.
Celtic are reliant on Odsonne Edouard in the final third, with the Hoops short of alternatives due to the unavailability of Leigh Griffiths.
After selling Moussa Dembele in the summer, the Bhoys have uncharacteristically lacked firepower this season.
As such, Brendan Rodgers has played the likes of Mikey Johnston and Scott Sinclair through the middle to take some of the goalscoring pressure away from Edouard.
While Celtic are the favourites to retain their title this season, adding another striker to the Hoops squad in the coming month would be a sensible option for the Glasgow giants.
