According to Football Insider, Aston Villa are interested in signing James Justin from Luton Town in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Villa have a bid of £7.5 million for the 21-year-old, who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder.
The report has claimed that the Villans tried to sign the youngster from Luton in the January transfer window as well.
Dean Smith’s side are reportedly determined to bring the defender to Villa Park this summer irrespective of which division they are in next season.
Villa have reached the Championship playoff final this season and will face Derby County at Wembley Stadium in London this month for a place in the Premier League for the 2019-20 campaign.
Justin, who can operate as a right-back or as a left-back, made 35 starts and eight substitute appearances in League One for Luton this season, scoring three goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Luton won the League One title this season and will play in the Championship in 2019-20.
