Aston Villa and Leeds United are keen on signing Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster, according to a report which was published by The Daily Mail.
Despite being highly-rated, the rising starlet has not made a single Premier League appearance for the Reds despite having burst onto the first-team scene back in 2017.
He will surely be getting frustrated about his lack of game time and as such weighing up moves to Villa or Leeds would make sense.
It will be hard to see Brewster’s situation improving anytime soon especially as Jurgen Klopp has a star-studded squad to choose from.
The report added that the German tactician is open to loaning out the teenager in January so that he can gain more playing time, with Leeds and Villa possible destinations.
A loan move in January will be best for both Brewster and Liverpool.
It does however need to be given careful thought as to whether a move to Leeds or Villa would be best at this point in time.
A move to Leeds could allow Brewster to gain more experience in the Championship whilst playing under an apt manager in Marcelo Bielsa.
One could argue that based on the emergence of Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham, a move to Elland Road would make more sense at this point.
Abraham initially struggled when loaned to then Premier League side Swansea in 2017.
However he shone last season whilst playing in the Championship for Villa and this has aided the current success which he is enduring with Chelsea.
