According to Calciomercato.com, AS Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini is open to joining Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Pellegrini wants to play in the Champions League next season and is interested in signing for Tottenham.
The report has also claimed that the 22-year-old midfielder would be interested in a move to Spurs’ bitter North London rivals Arsenal, despite the Gunners not being in Europe’s premier club competition next season.
Calciomercato.com has reported of Inter Milan’s interest in the Italy international, and has claimed that the youngster’s agent is in London at the moment.
Pellegrini has a release clause of €35 million (£31.15m) payable in two separate instalments, but Roma are looking for a way to hand him a new contract with better wages and remove the release clause, according to the report.
According to WhoScored, Pellegrini made 21 starts and four substitute appearances in Serie A for Roma this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in the process.
