West Ham United were beaten 3-1 by Arsenal on Saturday, making it three losses for the Hammers in their first three Premier League games.
Things were made worse as star man Marko Arnautovic was substituted in the second half, after the Austrian had opened the scoring for the visitors.
With West Ham fans clamouring for information on the attacker’s physical state, reliable source Claret and Hugh have suggested that the prognosis on the star is positive.
Their report states that Arnautovic will be monitored after taking a bang on the knee against Arsenal, but he left the Emirates Stadium without the need for crutches and that the knock was relatively manageable.
West Ham put in an improved performance on Saturday and the Austrian forward was central to that.
Arnautovic on his day is one of the Premier League’s most dangerous attackers and if the Hammers are to get out of the rut they are in, Manuel Pellegrini will need the former Stoke City man.
West Ham have a Carabao Cup clash with AFC Wimbledon in midweek before a home Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers next weekend.
