According to Football Insider, Rangers are interested in signing Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Seny Dieng in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Rangers want to bring Dieng to Ibrox on a free transfer this summer.
The report has also claimed that the 24-year-old has turned down QPR’s offer of a contract extension.
Rangers are claimed to be ready to offer the goalkeeper a deal, with the Gers having been impressed with his performances for Dundee during a loan spell during the second half of the season.
Football Insider, though, has reported that Rangers will face competition for the former Red Star Zurich and Grasshoppers goalkeeper.
Shrewsbury Town, Vitesse Arnhem, Strasbourg and Minnesota United all are interested in the QPR goalkeeper, according to the report.
With Allan McGregor having firmly established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper at Rangers, Dieng will have to play second fiddle and will have to really impress manager Steven Gerrard to get a shot at dislodging the former Scotland international.
