Glasgow Rangers were beaten 3-2 by Old Firm rivals Glasgow Celtic at Ibrox Stadium on Sunday afternoon, however, fans took to social media to slate one of their attackers for his performance during the game.

Graeme Murty’s side started brightly, having taken the lead inside the opening two minutes when Josh Windass fired the ball into the top corner after Hoops defender Dedryck Boyata made a mistake at the back.

Gers were pegged back almost ten minutes later when Tom Rogic bent a shot unopposed past Wes Foderingham, however, the home team restored their lead midway through the half.

Daniel Candeias met a cross from Declan John, but that lead was once again short-lived when Moussa Dembele equalised the game just before the half-time whistle.

Rangers would have been feeling confident of getting a result after Jozo Simunovic was shown a straight red card, however, Odsonne Edouard had other ideas and got Celtic the winner.

The defeat leaves the Ibrox outfit nine points behind their fierce rivals in the Scottish Premiership, although they have played a game more than their opponents.

Fans were, naturally, disappointed with the result, however, a number of the Light Blue faithful took to social media to criticise the performance of Windass.

The youngster has been in prolific form since Murty has been in charge at Ibrox and the winger has been rewarded with a new contract.

Fans stated that they had felt the former Accrington Stanley player had gone missing after his goal, with a number of them stating that he should have been subbed off in the game.

Here are some of their reactions:
