Rangers ran out comfortable winners against Hamilton Academical on Friday night, however, it did not stop fans from tearing into one of their own players on social media.

Pedro Caixinha’s side went behind in the very first minute of the game from Daniel Redmond, however, Declan John scored a quick double to put the Portuguese’s team in front.

Daniel Candeias drilled an effort in the 27th minute to ensure the visitors headed into the break at the SuperSeal Stadium in a commanding 3-1 lead.

Hamilton may have thought they had an opportunity to get back in the game, with Ryan Jack being sent off for the Ibrox outfit after two cautions, however, they conceded a penalty a couple of moments later.

It was converted by Graham Dorrans, whilst Accies were denied from the spot after Wes Foderingham saved Ross McCrorie’s effort.

Caixinha will have been pleased with the three points, as they look to try and close the gap between them and rivals Glasgow Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership, however, the Gers fans were not all too pleased with the whole performance.

Supporters decided to take to Twitter to discuss the showing winger Josh Windass and how they felt he should not have played the whole 90 minutes.

The 23-year-old rarely influenced any of the action and fans decided to slate him and accused him of lacking any effort, whilst also believing him to be the worst player in the whole squad.
