Mauricio Pochettino has said that his second-placed Tottenham Hotspur team can use the disappointment of last season as motivation for their Premier League title charge.
Spurs found themselves in a similar position this time last year but ended up 10 points adrift of eventual winners Leicester City after faltering in their last few games.

The Lilywhites’ 2-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor and Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace at the weekend means that the gap between the league leaders and Pochettino’s side at the top is now just seven points as they enter the home stretch of the current season.
The Tottenham manager has now said that his team can use the disappointment of missing out on the crown last year as motivation to win it this time around.
“I always tell the players we must show we have learned from last season,” Pochettino said, as reported by the Daily Mail.
“It was a tough experience but it is a thing that we need to think about every time and give our best, keep our position and fight.”
Both London teams have nine matches left in their quest for English football’s top prize, with one of Spurs’ games being a North London derby with bitter rivals Arsenal at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham and Chelsea will also face off in a tense FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on April 22 as they each look to keep the chance of a double-winning season alive.
