Leeds United youngster Leif Davis has taken to Instagram to express his delight at signing a new contract.

As announced on Leeds’s official website, Davis – who can operate as a central defender or as a left-back – has put pen to paper on new three-and-a-half-year deal.

The 19-year-old has taken to Instagram to revel in his new contract, and is ready to work hard.

Davis wrote on Instagram: “Absolutely delighted to sign a new 3 and a half year deal with @leedsunited. Hard work continue.”

First-team breakthrough

Davis has been at Leeds since 2018, and is hugely talented and has a lot of potential.

The youngster has made only a handful of appearances for the Whites’ first team so far in his career, but the new contract shows just how good he is and how highly he is rated by the club’s chiefs.

Promotion push

Leeds are aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season and clinch automatic promotion to the Premier League.

The Whites are third in the league table at the moment with 31 points from 16 matches, two points behind leaders West Bromwich Albion.
