Paul Merson has predicted a 4-0 Arsenal win and a 2-2 draw for Tottenham Hotspur ahead of this weekend’s round of Premier League matches.
The Gunners head into their home game against Middlesbrough off the back of thumping Ludogorets 6-0 in the Champions League in midweek.

They currently lie in second place in the table, level on points with Manchester City, but behind on goal difference.
In contrast, Middlesbrough go into the game just one position off the relegation zone and with only one win under their belt since the start of their Premier League campaign.
Having won their last six Premier League matches and looking strong at home so far this season, Arsenal will be high on confidence and Merson feels they will be too much for the Teeside team to deal with.
“I’m going 4-0 Arsenal. They’re going to suffocate them, and I just don’t see how Boro will get out of their half,” Merson told Sky Sports.
Spurs head into their away match against Bournemouth left as the only unbeaten side in the Premier League.
The North London team has made a good start to the season, beating the likes of Manchester City 2-0 and drawing 1-1 with top-four rivals Liverpool.

However, after a difficult European game against Bayer Leverkusen in Germany on Tuesday, Merson believes that the Lilywhites might struggle in the early kick-off of the weekend.
They come up against an improving Bournemouth side, who, after a bad start have won three of their last five Premier League games.
“I can see a draw here, which would be a superb result for an ever-improving Bournemouth side under Eddie Howe,” Merson commented.
