Pundit Paul Merson has predicted that Chelsea will beat Manchester United 1-0 in a clash of the Premier League heavyweights at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The clash in West London will see Jose Mourinho take his new team and face his old employers, with it set to be interesting to see what reception the Portuguese trainer receives from the Blues faithful.

United are coming off the back of a determined display at Anfield, where conservative tactics saw the Red Devils record a 0-0 draw on Merseyside.
Chelsea have been much-improved over recent games since switching to a three-man defence and are set to welcome John Terry back into their starting XI for the game.
Merson has stated that he thinks that the Blues will win the clash by the odd goal and has predicted similar cautious tactics by Mourinho.
“I’m going to go 1-0 Chelsea. I think they’ll have just a little bit more than what Liverpool had in attempting to break United down,” he told Sky Sports.
“People had a go at United on Monday. What do you expect? They got a point. This is not the Manchester United of the 1990s, this is the Manchester United of now. It’s not that football has changed, it’s that the team isn’t good enough.
“I don’t think they’re good enough to mix it at the moment. I think Jose Mourinho knows that, he set his team up, and they didn’t lose. It was a great result.
“He will 100 per cent do the same at Stamford Bridge. If they have a shot, and Chelsea have a shot, there’s only one winner, and that’s Chelsea by quite a few. Mourinho won’t go there and want to open the game up in that way.”
A win for either side would be a statement of intent in what looks set to be one of the hardest-fought Premier League title races in recent memory.
