Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has revealed that the Premier League club could well have a player undertake a medical on Sunday, in a tweet that has sparked excitement among the Selhurst Park faithful.
Responding to a fan’s tweet asking about transfer activity, the Eagles supremo admitted that bringing a player to the London side could be one step closer today.

The appointment of Frank de Boer has excited the Palace faithful given the Dutchman’s standing in the game and record of success at Ajax.
The new manager will be looking to bring new recruits to the Premier League club and the Eagles have been linked with a host of his compatriots in recent weeks.
So far this summer Palace have signed Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan from London rivals Chelsea, but the fans are eager to see ambition in the transfer market and more new faces arrive before the start of the new season.
It appears that De Boer wants to add a goalkeeper and at least one defender to his ranks this summer, judging from the players that have been linked to the Selhurst Park club since his arrival.
Parish’s tweet will have the Palace fans on tenterhooks today as they await potential news over a new face to arrive at the club, but as yet there has been no official word from the Premier League side.
With the prospect of a new player on the horizon, the Eagles supporters have been quick to respond to their chairman’s information with a host of humorous tweets – the best can be seen below.
