Everton fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Seamus Coleman against Manchester City.
Coleman was in action for Everton in their Premier League game against defending English champions City away from home at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old right-back started the game for the Toffees, but manager Carlo Ancelotti decided to take him off in the 59th minute.
The Republic of Ireland international did not have a good game at right-back, and it did not come as a surprise to see the defender not finish the match.
According to WhoScored, Coleman took one shot which was on target, had a pass accuracy of 84.2%, took 56 touches, attempted two dribbles, and made two tackles, one interception and one clearance.
The defeat to City did not come as a surprise to anyone, as Pep Guardiola’s side are much better and were also at home.

Not good. Coleman can’t pass to one of our players & taking too much time on the ball. Midfield have no legs & passing mainly sideways & backwards. The distance between the top 2 & rest of the team is massive. Too easy this for City but still 0-0 so that’s a positive #EFC #MCIEVE

Coleman can see Jesus there, so why didn’t he tuck in instead of playing catch up?!! Terrible!! #EFC #MCIEVE
